Pure Musician… Ash has been teaching and inspiring our daughter to play the acoustic guitar for over 5 years. ‘We find Ash to be kind, patient and encourages our daughter to raise her bar to reach her full potential.
Ash goes out of his way to relate to my daughters individual musical interests, and consistently develops her confidence week by week. Ash is a gifted musician and a wonderful teacher

The quality and style of Ash's guitar lessons and the overall professionalism have exceeded my expectations by far.
The lessons are very enjoyable. Ash has a very good feeling for his students' abilities. His patience, encouragement and good sense of humour help to keep up the motivation.
I am an older beginner and would highly recommend Ash to learners of any age.

Ash is an amazing tutor and is always keen to teach what you want to know as well as the things you really need to know. This makes the lessons so much fun and very enjoyable indeed. Nothing seems too much trouble and while the guitar is not an easy instrument to master I now feel that I am getting somewhere. My goal was always to be good enough to record something to keep for posterity and I feel that I am heading in the right direction! With the engaging and professional tuition provided by Pure Musician you can also realise your goals. But you need to practice!

My daughters, aged 12 and 14, have weekly guitar tuition with Ash from Pure Musician. Both have made outstanding progress and developed a lifelong love for the instrument. Ash is an extremely knowledgable and experienced guitar teacher. We particularly appreciate the way he tailors lessons to meet each daughters individual ability level and preference in music. I love the personal tailoring of the lesson to what you want to achieve learning guitar, and the quality and attention to detail Ash brings. Well structured lessons with plenty of resources and trackers of your progress help you practise at home to really bring you along towards your goals.

We are so happy to have found Pure Musician to teach our son guitar. They are totally professional, always punctual, reliable and passionate about what they do. They transmit energy, enthusiasm and fun throughout their teaching. Lessons are always well structured, encouraging and varied, allowing anyone to maximise their full potential whether they play electric, acoustic or classic guitar. Lessons are also reinforced with clear, relevant exercises and support between lessons is readily available when needed. We are amazed at the extent to which our son has progressed in a matter of a few months! He has developed a wonderful sense of self belief thanks to this fantastic company! Both our boys are taught by Pure Musician and we would highly recommend their services. Their passion for music and enthusiasm to teach has rubbed off on our boys willingness to learn and play. Lessons are well planned and teaching techniques varied according to individual needs. There is never any negativity, only encouragement and enthusiasm, always in a professional manner. Goals to achieve in between lessons are achievable and clearly explained with the ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude adopted if help is needed. My 13 year old has really enjoyed his lessons with Ash. Ash has given him music that he enjoys combined with instruction that has helped peak his interest. Therefore, he is practicing more and progressing. He's often off to practice now without a reminder as he's enjoying what he's doing. Ash has a gentle and encouraging teaching manner as well which suits my son well!

Ash is a truly dedicated and professional teacher. He teaches one of my sons the ukulele and the other, the electric guitar and he is completely committed and patient with them. He is very kind and they really enjoy their lessons. He always keeps you informed of their progress and what you can do to help as a parent. He is punctual and replies promptly to your queries and very accommodating. Would highly recommend!
